Activex control?

I cant do anything on my computer basically because it says to install the adobe flash player, but on my mothers account, she can do it, but like I download it but then it says Active X is harmful or something and then I changed tthe settings and all...

that mess and I dont know what to do now to be able to do all that stuff and get the active x accepted on my vista.

When you try to download the adobe flash player, it appears the active x control(the purpose of this is to blocked the download if you are trying).. when this yellow pop up window appears during your surfing on net you try to point your mouse on it and right click then you select allow.. if my advice is wrong please don't be upset.. I'm trying my best for it to help you thanks...

there is also the possibility that your mother's account is an administrator account on your PC.

if that is the case, she may have installed the app without a problem as an administrator, but not marked it as an install for all users.
