Is anyone else into acting?

I am going into acting and wondered if anyone else in here is doing the same or wants to get into it.If you are into acting have you been picked for anything if so how far was you into acting school before being picked?

I went to a acting school over the summer.
It was just basic things,acting out skits,and learning the basics.
I didnt really go any farther with it,though.
Im glad your trying hard though,and going out for what you want.

I've been interested in acting for a long time now. I'm starting to really get into now though. I'm planning on going to some kind of convention thing in a few weeks. I'm also planning on getting into theater and classes. Classes are expensive though so I'm being picky on which ones I take.
