What is the difference between the ACT test and the SAT test?

Actually they are both college admittance exams. Most colleges still use the SAT but some are now switching to the ACT, as the ACT has more relevant questions. I believe that on the ACT a wrong answer is not deducted from your overall score. Most students orefer the ACT.

ok im from england so I have never heard of a ACT but I have heard of SAT we have them in our schools you take one at age 11 and one at age 13 they mean nothing they just help the school decide which classes u'll go in like set 1 the smartest set 5 the not so smart lol I think your SAT are like england's GCSE they give us our marks so we can get into college if you pass and then we get A levels to see if we can get into university
