What facewash will help acne?

Acne
My face gets bad acne mostly around my mouth
What face wash could I use to get rid of it??
Should I try a different cover up ??
What in anyones opinion works the best in getting rid of
Acne ??

hey. Well since you're getting acne around the mouth, it may be a lipgloss you're using, or even toothpaste when it gets around your mouth when you're brushing your teeth. I think the best thing to use is a cleanser that says for 'sensitive skin' because when you have acne you really do have sensitive skin. After washing your face very gently (don't rub so hard) put on a cream containing benzoyl peroxide, like 'neutrogena on the spot acne treatment) and gently rub like a pea sized amount all over the area you get pimples (not just the pimples themselves) then after that is completely dry put on an oil free moisturizer. I use oil of olay hydrating fluid (its non comedogenic and smells pretty). Do this routine at night. In the morning wash again with he same cleanser, and put on moisturizer again (no Benzoyl peroxide). This routine really worked for me. However I use the Benzoyl peroxide from 'dan's regimen' on http://www.acne.org - check it out.

I had bad acne last year so over the summer and the begining of this year I took acutaine. its this Really powerfull stuff that gets rid of all your acne and you never get acne again. however its very hard to ubtain and the main reason I got it was because my mom has inside ties w. the hospital. its also a pain in the a** because every month you have to go get a pregnancy test and a shot. afacial scrub that worked really well 4 me was:
NEUTROGEN DEEP CLEAN GENTLE SCRUB.

I use Clean & Clear. Alcohol also helps.

If its around your mouth its probley an allergic reaction to something that you are using. If you want it to go away faster, you should get a prescription from the doctors. Because if it is an allergic reaction, normal acne care could end up making it worse. Also, avoid using cover-up on it because it may also make it worse. Depending what caused the allergic reaction and the brand of cover-up you use.

Hi I've never hard acne but I have spots every now and then- but when I get them its like a break out of about 6 spots!! grrr it so anoying

I dont think face washes work- not for me anyway lol

I use anti-bacterial bar of soap with no alchol and no perfume and it works really well!!

If you have TCP where ever your from that works really well with the soap and clear up in a day- you just have to dab the liquid on the areas every 4 hours!! Really good!

Clean and Clear is what I use and I suffered with bad acne for 6 Years now you cant even tell I ever had acne =] Hope I helped

Firstly using substances derived from vitamin A like retin-a or tazarotene, to reduce inflammation of the skin and to unplug pores. Retin-A can cause skin reddening at first but this is quite normal as the skin's blood supply is improved and younger looking skin begins to appear presenting a youthful complexion. Using a product that includes zinc will also help the vitamin a function better.

Strong cleaners will actually make acne worse because they take so much oil out of your skin that your body automatically produces MORE oil, making it worse. What you need to do it buy a gentle cleanser and moisturize with a oil-free lotion.

try Nuetragena (spelled wrong) it worked ok for me.

I use clean & clear,but pro-active works too..at least thats what my because told me...
