Accounts deleted, or disabled?

Just wondering why accounts get disabled and why accounts get deleted? What is the difference between getting an accont disabled and getting one delteted? What is the difference between them? Are disabled accounts only temporarily disabled, and deleted accounts are permanently disabled? I mean why would someone have their account disabled, but not deleted, if they are the same thing? Just wondering.

A disabled account basically has a temporary block on it. We will disable something if we need to talk to the person through email about an issue, or until a persons email address is confirmed after signing up. Once the email is confirmed, the account is no longer disabled.

A deleted account is if you repeatedly break the Terms of Use and that's it- you're done. You cannot get your information back or become "undeleted". It's permanent.
