How can I get out of an abusive relationship?

I think my relationship is beginning to be abusive. I dont really know how to get out of it. im young but I cant really get out of it. hes bin slightly abusive these past couple of days after a secret I told him and now I dont know what to do.

get help immediately!!! don't wait to find out what will happen next, tell someone you trust or call a local abuse hot-line in your area. If you contact an operator or a hospital they can give a number to you.

Get out, tell him its over. If you can do this over the phone then he won't be able to be physically abusive to you if he doesn't like what you are telling him. Unless he gets help he won't get any better. Try and get some support from friends or family when you do this. If he causes you problems after you've broken it off then contact the police.

I was in two abusive relationships totally 17 years, please don't put up with it like I did. I will never put up with it again, the first sign of abuse and I'll be gone.
