Abortion question

playboy hat Asked by missmagic 2 months ago, 8 answers.

I have never had an abortion, and I never will. I don't really believe in abortion, unless there's certain circumstances behind it...I believe that abortion should NEVER be used as birth control..however, I wanted to know some opinions, because I'll be...

writing a paper on it for my soc class.
Do you believe or know if you have too many abortions that you won't beable to have a normal pregnancy? What are your beliefs on the fact that every child deserves a chance? I believe that you never know if that child could have been the president, or the person who cures aids ect...
and what do you think of Mr. Obamas new Live abortion...which is where you a woman can get an abortion at any point in her pregnancy...specifically if a baby is born at 32 weeks it can live with proper medical care, however what happens during a live abortion is the mother is induced and then after the baby is delivered it's moved to a room to die.

Live abortion?...that is wrong on soo many levels.

I am pro-choice but only during the first trimester. I feel like every woman should be able to say what happens to her own body. If a woman is raped her choice of having sex is taken from her so why should she be forced to have a baby with a rapist. Why would she want to look at that bump in her belly and know how it got there?

Abortion for birth control? No, that shouldn't happen. But there is times when accidents really do happen. When a couple does everything right and a pregnancy still occurs, that woman should be able to choose.

As for every child deserving a chance? You can say that the baby could grow up to be the president or the person who cures AIDS, etc. But I could say that the baby could grow up to be a rapist, child molester, murderer, etc. The possibilities are endless on both sides of that argument.

When you have an abortion you get scar tissue, if you have too many it would be hard to have a pregnancy carried to full term.

I suppose you would say I'm pro-choice in the sense that I also believe that if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant she should beable to to have an abortion, for many reasons other then just the bump growing in her stomach, for her own psychological well being...seeing how she's going to have issues probably already.

As far as every child having a chance, you're right, anybody can have developmental, psychological or emotional problems, however MOST of the time those problems don't exist until later in life, due to things happening to them as children for them to be that way...but not all, shizoprenia is often a mental disorder that you're born with...however, a child can be born with greatness.

Maybe we really should have to take tests to ever have children? The sad thing about that is that only about 2 out of 10 people would be qualified to have these children, so ultimatly the population would die off.

Oh, and if you're American, thank your very liberal president for making live abortions legal.

I believe that abrtion is an option women need to have
no, its not birth control, not should it ever be used as it
but in cases like rape, not being finacially, mentally stable, ect
an abortion is the only choice
I dont think a woman should be forced through labour and pregnancy with a baby she doesnt want to have
I think there are well enough people and children in ths world, both with homes and without
the less kids in adotion agencies the better
as for live abortion I do NOT beleive in that
I think thats a horrible and inhumane thing to do, and should be outlawed imediently

I DO NOT believe in abortions.I think that whoever pound a way to do this should rot in hell.killing an innocent little baby is not only wrong but in my opinion murder because that baby is alive.if you have so many abortions it will effect your ability to have children and might possible leave you not to be able to get pregnant at all.as far as leaving a baby to die I dont think that is true beacuse than if thats the case y do people get arrested for killing someone than?adoption is always a choice.I have a beautiful baby boy who I dont regret having at all and im 18 years old.abortion should not be used as a bc.

I'm against abortions unless it's conceived through rape because everyone knows sex makes babies so they shouldn't have put themselves at risk. Using it as a birth control is disgusting - there's so many forms you can use. I wouldn't condemn someone for having one though, it's their choice. I just couldn't kill a baby that I'd made. It just feels like murder to me and it's their fault it's there in the first place. I think the limit on abortions should be cut dramatically. Here in the UK I think it's legal until the foetus is seven months in some cases! Millions of babies are born at this time and easily survive. It should be only allowed up until the first trimester unless the baby or mother is at risk. Most people regret having abortions too - always wondering about them and feel guilty about what it could've been. I think adoption is most humane - then you can give the child to a childless couple which is the best for all of you. And I'm pretty sure abortions damage the uterus making it more difficult to carry full term - and the more abortions you've had the more at risk you become.

my main opinion on abortion is that it is fine. I think that it is better for a child not to be born that to be born in to an underprivelidged life. for example would it be better if a child was starving most of the time and was left alone and not cared for properly or if it was never born, and if the child was concieved from rape then abortion is fine. however I do believe that every life deserves a chance. I think that peoples view on abortion depends on when they believe that life begins, because if you believe that life begins at birth then abortion should not be a problem because if a baby is not alive until it is born then an abortion would not be killing and unborn baby because you can not kill a baby that is not alive. but if you belive that life begins at conception then you would see an abortion as killing a child.
hope this helps

Well see, the problem here is this. If there are fetal problems (baby isn't going to live but for minutes after birth) if the mother chooses to abort because she doesn't feel it fair to let the baby suffer after birth ect...then that isn't really inhumane, I myself would always have a what if in the back of my head.
However, it is true that Mr. Obama (liberal...far left in my opinion) believes in live abortion...which is where they induce the mother and after delivering the baby they take it to another room and let it die...there's even been instances where it's taken several hours (more then 24) before this baby has passed away.
I chose to not watch this...because it makes me sick to my stomach...and being pregnant myself I just can't even imagine...however, here's a little something for those of you who either don't believe that live abortion can be true...or that your dear president surely wouldn't do this.

Perhaps the most important thing is that young girls and boys get better education on how to protect themselves. Maybe we should implement a class in Jr High where they HAVE to take care of a baby for a week.
