If you were raped...and qot preqnant...do you believe the baby should be aborted??

That is a very difficult decision.
And I honestly have to say that I probably would.
I believe the few reasons to get an abortion would be something like being raped, or if the pregnancy would bring health risks or possible death to either the mother or baby.
But I wouldn't want to make the decision for someone. I believe if it's their body, it's their choice.

No, not at all.
Just give it up for adoption if you dont want it, there is no reason to get an abortion.

In my eyes, that's one of the hardest choices someone could make. It'd be terrible, and would be painful to a woman emtionally and mentally. They could become quite messed up bearing the child of their attacker. SInce I'm not in that postion, I can't exactly answer. Under different circumstances it would be a different answer.

It's never a good reason to abort a life. The baby deserves to come into the world. You could ruin your chances to have a baby if you abort one. Doctors actually take the baby out by destroying every part of it's tiny body. Aren't you glad your Mom didn't abort you?

Statistics show women who abort have more problems and suffer more. Most women go through a lot of counseling. Tell the person not to take the choice of the baby to be born away. We should fight for the life of the innocent baby. Babies aren't mistakes! Babies are miracles and a gift from God. If you can't take care of a baby than let someone else have the opportunity to nurture a baby. Adoption is a wonderful thing! Jesus is the adopted son of Joseph! Moses was adopted.

Statistics? What statistics? Considering there is no objective way to prove this, I'm curious who conducted this research. Uhm right, fight for the right of the baby and the forget about it once it is born. Guess who ends up with needing counseling, abusive households and all the crime and drug problems? Kids with dysfunctional families. A person has a right to decide what they do with their bodies. I dont think there's one right answer to this question. I also do not believe in being judgmental about people's decisions. The whole judge not or you'll be judged thing really makes sense to me. I dont like to be holier than thou. And uhm if my mother had decided to abort this question would be moot. You cannot what if in life. Perhaps Hitler's mother should have aborted... Decisions can have negative as well as positive consequences.

If I was raped and I FELL PREGNANT, I would have an abortion. But that is what I WOULD DO. I don't feel that I have a right to choose for anyone about how to live their lives and what to do with their bodies. Abortion is a personal choice and until I've been in that persons shoes then I'm not going to be judging.

Where do you get your statistics. And once again different women have difference circumstances, so you can't say that every single one will feel different.

To me it's not only about TAKING CARE of the baby, it's about NOT WANTING TO BE PREGNANT and GIVE BIRTH. That would be what would cause me to have an abortion if I was raped. I'm not willing to sacrifice my body for a baby that I wasn't responsible in creating.

Furthermore I live in Africa, very very few children over here get adopted.

I can think of a few reasons. What if the baby's brain wasn't developing properly or if the mothers life is in danger?

I believe you should do what you think is best. If it were me in that situation, I'd abort.
