A short story

I have to write a short story for creative arts and I am stuck for ideas. I has to be G PG
and be 500 words.
its not allowed sexual refernces pashing murder rape stuff like that wouldnt be in a G PG movie.

heres a story:

A man when he was a kid decided he wanted to become a soldier. To prove he could do something with his life. Wanting to be a great hero. Ends up not making it to the top and tells other peoples succes stories as if they were his own. In battle he go injured and was in a coma. And when he wakes up he actually thinks that all the stories he was telling was actually him. But as his life goes on he finds out nothing was true he didnt accomplish anything.

hey sounds kinda sad. but you can find a happy ending. Maybe he learns a life lesson or something. lol I dunno just what I thought of lol
