How do I tell my athiest boyfriend that I'm christian?

My boyfriend is Atheist, I am a strong Cristian.

He doesnt know. I dont care about the difference but I would like him to convert but im not going to try to get him to.

Well I kinda have the feeling that I should tell him because sometimes he talks down on Cristianity and it makes me uncomfortable.

I've been with him for almost a year and I cant loose him over anything like this.

Should I tell him?
Would it ruin our relationship?
How should I tell him?

How can your boyfriend not know that you're Christian? I'm guessing it's not a very open relationship to begin with. If you guys break up, nothing to cry over.

No that is not the case. We are very open to each other.
Its just the fact that I never told him because I never thought it was a big deal until now and I may be a strong Cristian but I dont have time to go to church all the time.
It would be a big deal if we broke up. We are very close.

I understand how he doesnt know your christian though. my boyfriend didnt know I was christian until I asked him not to talk like that. hes fine. it didnt ruin our relationship because we really like eachother. if he breaks up with you because your christian than hes stupid and you deserve better.

You should have made it clear THE FIRST TIME he talked down on Christianity that you're Christian. You weren't being honest - strike one. Plus, even if he stops expressing his opinion on Christianity in front of you doesn't mean he likes Christianity any better, which will make HIM the dishonest one - strike two.

A successful relationship needs, among other things, honesty and open communication. You are a strong Christian and he is a strong atheist. If neither of you is willing to change your personal beliefs, this relationship isn't going anywhere. Yes, you CAN lose him over anything like this because your faith is obviously important to you. Of course, you can always pick your boyfriend over your faith although I personally wouldn't recommend that.

On the bright side, you're still young. One year may seem like forever, but it's nothing. You will break up with your boyfriend, get over him, and date someone who's Christian. That's just life.

My boyfriend is atheist and im a strong christian and he knows im christian. I think you should let him know and if he doesnt like it then dont fret theres plenty of guys. Being a proud christian is way more important than any boy anyway.

the Bible says that you are to not be "involved" with someone who is not from your nation. that basically means that you are not to be boyfriend and girlfiend with someone who is not a Christian.
I wouldnt want you to break up with him if you truly love him. but if hes not going to become a Christian anytime soon. hes not the one for you.
