A poem

this is apoem I wrote a wee while ago just wondering what you thought of it =)

You ordered me to shut your book.
You were afraid I might damage your spine,
Tear your pages. You refer to the index of
Been hurt too many times, it causes you to
Keep hidden...

like a shadow of the day.

You live on false hope, under a blanket of fear,
Desperate for someone to understand. Care.
But does it make you weak? You feel vulnerable
To society. Broken. Your heart tossed in the gutter.

You study me with your gentle eyes, trying desperately
To open my book. It’s locked. Handle with care I break
Easily. I’m afraid ill get ripped open. Left for dead.

I annoy you. I know too much. Hard shelled, soft centre.
You can’t figure me out, because our personalities parallel.

Never settle for less. Determination could make you
Conquer the world. You’re passionate about life.
Your interested how the trouble less live. I am here
For you. You’re the most amazing book I’ve ever read.

its nice, really, I thot it was a little hard to follow in a few places, but yeah I liked it, (im one of those iambic pentameter and symbolism freaks lol) so for being something I dont entirley understand, it was good, ^^, hmm I think my words came off a little wrong, but I really mean what I say as a compliment!! ^^

Wow very inciteful, can mean so many things, if you can justwrite something like that I think you have a little something special inside you for poetry because that was really good
