A new law

Ok I am a child and I want a law passed but I don't know where to go, I want this law passed:

- tobbaco is illegal to have in possesion, to smoke, or to sell.

What do you think about this? Where do I go?

Hah, will never happen. Too many people smoke, depend on it, and the government makes billions of dollars from it.

Before you go anywhere, I think it's important that you know such a law will NEVER be passed. It infringes upon people's rights and freedoms.

Furthermore, your profile says you are 25 - not a child, but an adult.

In the end, if you still wish to pursue it, take it up with your local member of congress.

Good luck passing that the GOV. makes to much off it from taxes.

it is a nice thought- but as stated above, it will never happen.

tobacco remains my last demon to slay, and at over $6.00 a can (copenhagen) my personal battle will most likely be coming soon.

I love the idea but not that many people will like it. but maybe if you made up a wonderful speech and read it or send it to like the govenor or someone important to the usa. good luck I hope it will happen!

It will never EVER happen. Too many people smoke...they'll say it goes against their rights or something like that. It would be nice, but not realistic.

They could say it is against their rights but it is also the government's right to decide which drugs are legal and illegal I think it is a great idea and you should write a letter to your congressman

If the government can decide to ban certain chemicals they deem unhealthy I see no reason why they couldn't ban nicotine

I think a law should be passed not to smoke in a car while children are in it. I hate that. I have a friend and her child always reeks of smoke.
