A high from music?

Sometimes when I listen to music, I feel like im on a high...its so weird! Does anyone know why this is?

I get the same feeling, I guess it realises happy hormones in your body if you listen 2 upbeat music,if you listen 2 sad music, you feel sad I couldnt live wiv out music!!! I have it on all the time!!! xx

I don't get that high feeling, but when I get too absorbed in the music im listening to my body starts to feel funny. Like, I feel the beat of the music, it's weird x,,x.

I'm not an expert on this, but whenever I was involved in youth group, people would always talk about getting spiritual highs. it's probably the same thing. endorphins and whatnot...

I think it has something to do with what the music means to you. I get the same feeling when I'm listening to music that really speaks to me. Usually about an issue I feel really strongly about... like concrete angel or something like that
