Should i ask him out if we're best friends?

have you liked a guy that was your best friend but you really don't know if you should ask him out because your afaid that if something happens between yall it might mess up your friendship what would you do

ok im in exactly the same situation. do you know if he likes you or not?
yes I would suggest you gave it a go but if he says no then explain very clearly that you want nothing to change between the two of you.
if he says yes well then there you go...
and also if the two of you break up then try to keep the friendship you had before.
