90210 remake?

Has anybody heard that there is going to be a remake of 90210? And if its true?

its not a remake, its a spin off. I only know because one of the stars of degrassi next generation is playing a character on the spin off, and theres been some talks of jenny garth reprising her former role but nothing is cemented yet. its not the same show at all, its just set in the same area with a possibility of old characters doing cameos. kind of like the way friends ended and the joey character had his own show.
