8th grade dinner dance [girls please]

I am going to my 8th grade dinner dance and its supposed to be totally formal but not like im going to the prom and im so picky and I dont want to spend too much money where should I go what should I wear?
Ps: I dont have big boobs or a big butt.

I think a sharp pant suit would look hot. I like when I see the female stars with not butts and boobs in a sharp pant suit. Must look like you are ready for a dance and not work, that is the key point. But they are hot and I am not sure if you can add a plunging neck but that really pulls the look together.

delias and wetseal have cute dresses that arent to fancy but it isnt like you are going to the prom. just get something that makes your body look good. can you help me with my question it would help a lot.Thanks
