not sure, fill me in on the story a little more, where did it happen
Hoover, AL
Hoover police have charged one man and are looking for at least two others believed to be involved in the theft of more than 1,700 gallons of gasoline from the Sunny Foods store at 100 Riverchase Parkway East, Hoover police Capt. Jim Coker told Birmingham News reporter Mike Cason.
The thefts happened in four incidents since June 25. Demetric Lamon Chapman, 29, of Birmingham was charged with second-degree felony theft. He was arrested early Friday after police responded to an alarm at the store.
Coker told Cason that Chapman and two other men were standing in the parking lot of the hotel next door to the store and ran when approached by police. Chapman was caught after a short chase. He was released from the Shelby County Jail on $15,000 bond Sunday.
The store reported thefts on June 25, June 29, July 2 and July 4, totaling 1,729 gallons of gasoline valued at $7,389.
Coker told Cason that two pickup trucks loaded with storage drums and parked at the station were impounded. The gasoline was stolen directly from the pump after hours, he said.
na its easy, once you work at one store you know how everything works. they'd have to be pretty stupid for it to be an inside job, lol. but all I have to say is we're going to be seeing a lot more of that in the future. get ready for all hell to break loose

$7,000 worth of gas stolen?
How did someone manage to steal this much gas!!! Don't the pump automatically cut of @ $75 dollars. Sounds like an inside job to me!
