Are there any jobs for a convicted dui felon?

I am a convicted felon for a 4th offense DUI in Omaha Nebraska and can't find a job anywhere because of this ... any suggestions ?

There are a couple of things you can try.

First, the website http://www.hirenetwo... should have a listing of nonprofits that can help you.

Also, checking your local employment department for your state. They should have some listings for you.

Hmmm, how are you with your drinking problem? That is the first question. If you are not staying sober, the job won't matter because you'll lose in anyway. Once you've been sober for 6 months, many alcohol and drug treatment centers will hire you as support staff to start off with. They pay Jack and ***t, and Jack left town, but it really helps with staying sober and eventually you might get a decent position. Just a thought! However, most places will not hire drunks and addicts because one study showed that 90-98% of a sample died from alcohol and/or substance abuse causes no matter what intervention was used. You could always bootleg, or run a "designated driver" service!
