What are your views on the film 300?

I personally love it.

Thought it was very well done. The cinematography was very impressive.

Cinematography WAS good. Fight-choreography was fantastic. But the acting wasn't that great.

LOVED it! My favorite scene was the one where all the guys were all starting on their journey and walking down the cliff... I have never seen so many abs!!!

there was not one scene where you werent in awe, not one second or boredom. you almost dont want to blink so you wont miss a moment.. a very cool movie..

I really liked it. It reminded me of what I expected from the movie Troy in terms of suspense (quite apart from the fact that Troy was supposed to be based on the Trojan Horse story, except changed a lot of things). I also prefer the movie to the comic it was based on - I'm much the same with V for Vendetta as well.

I know it's not supposed to be historically accurate but as a history buff I couldn't ignore some of the things the film messes up on. Maybe the biggest one was the role of the other Greek powerhouse, Athens, in this war. That's the whole reason the Persians tried to invade through Thermopylae.

But they did get some things right, like the militaristic lifestyle of Spartans. And overall the movie was very well done, especially the background scenes on bluescreen.
