first of all, this can only end badly..your parents are gonna be the same age or younger so forget trying to reason with them because they wont listen. Prepare yourself for a war zone..can you honestly say this is right? honestly? A 42 yr old and a 18 yr old???
he might be sexy now...sure, hes mature, has his own place, car, money but what happens when you want to go out with YOUR friends and he stays in.. do you really think he'll want to hang out with 18 year olds? And your friends wont approve either...And what happens years down the line if your still together? You will want completely different things...! He'll be retiring and you'll be working or wanting to have a child maybe? This relationship is a no go...your just infactuated by the idea of an older man...it will cause tension...do you want to lose your family and friends for a man whos havin a pop at being young again? Sorry if im harsh but im just shocked and concerned...get out while you still can...think about it this way, he was 24 when you were born...its just wrong...what if you were 42, would you want to be with a 18 year old boy and firmly believe it was ok??? And even if you do stick by him, in 2 or 3 years you will ask yourself what were you thinking because this isnt right...sorry ...and plus he could be jailed so...please rethink...

yeah hes old enough to be your dad, probably just a phase. and even though your probably really pretty he might be married and he might not like you because of age difference. I think you should just get someone your own age, even though it might be hard, good luck x
