2012 is it true?

I heard 2012, the world is going to end. and I heard someone say its true, because of the mayan calendar and (this is why I might think its true) someone said the world will end in 2012 because god wants to stop all the chaos in the world and there is...

LOTS of chaos, like polluting the earth, robberies, murders, ect... that does makke sense, but I don't know

NO NO NO NO NO AND NO!!! This question has been asked so many times it could probably go in the guiness book of records! 2012 is an idiotic rumour and will not happen just like all those other year sthat have passed that the world was meant to end on!

Well I don't believe the world is going to end for one second. Only God knows when this will happen not the mayans. And God already destroyed the earth with a flood but then promised to never do anything like that ever again (does this story sound familiar?) But of course that is only a bible story. I think no one will know for sure until the day comes, and I think it's pretty ridiculous to believe it's true. I don;t believe it, I just think the mayans didn't finish the calendar because who wants to keep making calanders? Maybe they thought there would be no way the world would last past 2012 so they just stopped? Remember it's been centuries since the Mayans have been around. Do you and I think the world will last past the year 6012? What if the people who keep on making the calender don't believe the world will last that long because it's too far into the future to know, so they leave it up to the ones who will be living in that time to continue the calendar if the world does go on. Maybe they thought someone could just pick up where they left off? Those are just my theories but no one really knows what will happen.

nope. God made it clear that no Human will ever know the exact time or date of the End of the World.

so there. question solved.

besides...nobody predicted that would be the end of the world...just a new begginning...also the Mayans just kinda ran out of space to continue there calendar
