Is the world ending in 2009?

ok so check tis out this girl told me that the worl was gunna get hit by a metor or sumthing like that thats gunna take all are water. I just want to know who else has heard about this its been like on the discovery channel and stuff.

No one knows when the world will end!! God tells us in Revelation of the end times. We may get a sense of the approximate time it will end, but the truth is... NO ONE KNOWS!! Only God knows. For all I know, the Anti-Christ (a person who will exist in the end times) may be alive at this very moment! The disciples thought that Christ would return and the world would end back in A.D. 40s. So, the world might very well end in 2009, but not by a giant meteor. We won't know until it we see definite sign s of the end (I.e. the rapture, the tribulation, etc...)

All these people are right no one know when it well end but in my oppion there is nothing to worrie about because it wont happen for a long long time.

Some people will tell you the world can't possibly end in 2009, because its going to end in 2012. The truth is no-one has any idea of when the world is going to end.

How can you say that nobody knows when the world will end. There are so many people who have predicted w hen the world would end. The Mayans predicted 2012. How do you know they are wrong? Everything they ever predicted came true, yet you still say nobody knows when the world is going to end. Sounds narrow-minded to assume that just becasue you don't know when the world will end that nobody knows.

No, it sounds retarded that people assume the Mayans have the ability to tell the future.
