Is there a way to make sex not hurt that bad the first time?

I'm a virgin and my b/f and I decided to have sex this weekend. I heard that it hurts a lot. Is there anyway he can make it not hurt so much? OH I have a next question. Why does sex hurt the first time?

I think u should wait until your married but whatever. It hurts becuase your vagina has not been stretched like that and lots of lube, but even with that its prbably going to hurt the first time-- hop that helped

Sex hurts for the first time because you're not used to being opened up that wide, as well as the fact that your hymen (if you still have it) tears when you lose your virginity- which for some people hurts quite a bit. For SOME people. Remember, it may not hurt, it could hurt a little, it's different for everyone. What's important is that your boyfriend takes it slow and respects you if you need him to stop. If you go slowly and use lube (or have him finger you, etc. so that you're already wet) you should be alright. Good luck, and feel free to funmail me if you have any more ?'s.

it does not hurt as bad as you think you vagina is really tight and if your b/f has fingered you it might not be painful to have sex and most of the time sex does not hurt it really does feel good if this advice does not help maybe you should wait till your married and have fun
