What do I do when I'm pregnant at 19?

I'm 19 years old....and I don't know how to tell my family...I still haven't gone to the doctor because I don't know which one to go to...and because I don't have any insurance or anything...I'm scared and I don't know what to do....Please help!

Well, don't desperate. I had one friend with the same problem, but at the age of 17. You can try behaving very good at home and showing that you're a mature person. But you really have to be one. Not only appearance. Don't discuss or fight with your parents. You must recognize you made a mistake.

There are a lot of programs out there to help you. Go to a Family Planning facility near you. You're 19 so you can go to one alone. They can direct you and assist you. You may want to work on getting your own place. That way you will get more assistance than being dependent. Talk with your mom, she can help you. There are programs out there like WIC and Foodstamps that will help you.
