17 year old male of a 4 month old daughter

I am a 17 yr old male with a part-time job and stll live at home with my parents. My 19 yr old girlfriend just resently moved out and back in with her parents. We decided to have 50/50 custody but now her parents say she needs to fill out childsupport...

paperwork and that I shouldn't have custody at all. When my mother tried to help me with mediation papers they told her she couldn't and that they, including the judge didn't even know if I could legally fillout the papers nor if I could have any kind of custody of our daughter. I have looked on line for help and can't find any information on a minor having or sharing custody. HELP!!!

I agree a 100% with nicksgurl they cant take your kid away from you UNLESS you do drugs or you are a reallly bad drinker and is drunk every day which I dought that!!!

awww well first off I wud like to say thank you for being 17 and actually wanting to take care of a newborn and there is no way in hell they cud keep your child away from you ,,you are the father idc how old you are thats not possible and you are an adult you are 17 not 7...
