17-year-old girl dating a 15-year old boy: too weird?

Well well, I've never actually asked a question here, only answered them, so this is new to me. :P

A little while ago, I met a guy. We talked for awhile and found we have a few things in common. Plus, he's single and looking and has taken an interest...

in me (basically straight out told me), and honestly, the feeling is mutual. Now here's the thing: He just turned fifteen a few months ago, and I will be turning seventeen in a few months. Although I like him, I'm wondering if this is just a tiny bit too weird? I mean, it's just it's been awhile since I've met a guy who I can have a nice long conversation with. If we do date, I have no plans to make it sexual as that would just be a little too weird.

So people, give me some advice here: Should I give the guy a chance at least, or should I get on with my life and look for a guy closer to my age?

It really shouldn't matter what age you are as long as the feelings are there. Just try it if you really do like him and see how things turn out.

ahaha, nah. it's not weird at all. I just turned 17 last month and my boyfriend's still 15 'til October. has never felt weird at all, either.
