16 years old..pregancy test came out negative and im 8 days late..

Um...She I have a problem..Im late 8 days late I took a pregnacy test..it came out negative..we didnt use protection..im 16 years old he is 20 years old..Why is the test coming out negative???Please I need help

It could be because it's too soon for the pregnancy test to work accurately. I'd recommend talking to your doctor to get a recommendation for one that will work well - or try planned parenthood, as they can provide some help as well, and have doctors on staff (helpful if you don't have insurance, etc).

Go buy "First Response" get the one that says it will work up to 4 or 5 days BEFORE your missed period. Maybe the test you purchase wasn't done correctly or a dud. Go to Kmart or Walmart etc. and get a good one. If you dont feel like spending the money again, go to one of those free pregnancy clinics to find out. Also, the tests work better if you take them in the morning because that's when the pregnancy hormone is the strongest. (If you are pregnant.)

I would go take another test immediatly. When I took my first pregnancy test it came back negative...but then I was still late...so I bought an ept, first responce, and a clear blue digital. All of them ended up coming out positive. So now im 4 months pregnant. But I would advise you to use a condom next time.
