All depends on what state/country you are located in. I live in Nebraska and here, you can be in a relationship with someone at age 16 and be with someone 18 and older. I'm 16 and I'm dating a guy who is 21 years old and we have no problems. Our relationship is as public as ever.

Kimberly080606 is right! It some areas of the world it IS ilegal. Check your state laws! And I think it may be ok if your parents approve .. But don't take my word on that I am unsure on that theory

im not sure if its illegal but here in california a minor can get married if they get a judge to say yes and the parents of the minor to say yes. so im guessing no its not illegal...
plus when my sister was 15 her boyfriend was 19 and now shes 17 and hes 21 so I dont know because my mom does approve of it so I guess its not bad unless the parents say it is.

I hate it when people say is it leagl to date someone. YOU CAN DATE WHOEVER YOU WANT! nO MATTER WHAT AGE! ITS SEX THAT MATTERS. OF COURSE ITS LEGAL TO DATE SOMEONE! A 13 year old could date a 60 year old if she wanted to as long as no sex. I dont know the consent laws for Cnada, but for example it is legal to HAVE SEX with a 21 year old if you are 16 in the state of Maryland, because the consent age is 16. You have to find out Ontario's consent age.
