How do i put a 14g barbel in my cartilage?

So 13 weeks ago I got my cartilage pierced. I wanna put a 14g barbel earing into it. how do I do that? do I just stick it in and push it thru?

well obviously its healed by now. its going to hurt a bit. honestly its going to get quite infected for awhile. I would sugest puttingin an eighteen or sixteen gauge first. but, if your going to do this then I would rub lotion around the area and then it set a couple minutes to soften the hole. emu oil works best but if you dont have it then lotion will do. then just push it in. also if you ask a professional they will tell you that just shoving something through is not healthy for you and it will rip or tear your skin permenantly.

I would say put a smaller gauge in first and then work the 14 gauge in little by little.
maybe use vaseline so it just slips right in.
I just pushed it in and it hurt and was sore... so I dont really recommend it.
