That is a great question.

Child Labor Law: Work Permits are required for minors 14 to 17 years old. The law restricts hours of work and prohibits employment in hazardous occupations..

I will send you an e-mail with more info on the laws & Regulations in you're state, that I was able to find...

Here though are some great ideas that you may be able to employ.
Jobs: Lawn care, Amusement parks, Paper Routes, Care taker, Etc.

However, you must obtain a Work Permit prior to being able to do this, unless you are simply looking to offer folks to mow their lawns for like $10,$15, Maybe $20 per job...
I did this when I was younger, then made friends with an induvidual who owned a pain shop, and worked for awhile. However, I was in the state of Missouri.

Each state maybe different per state, although with the same certain affect of Federal regulations & law compliances.

Don't give up! And keep looking! I know its a little tough, when you are younger...
But believe be! It does get better, I mowed lawns, and did jobs are a young age.

Now, I work for Chamberlain/Lift-Master Garage doors. :-)
A Multi-Million $ Co.

You'll make it though, just keep it up! I'll send you that e-mail shortly.

Babysitting is definatly the best option at this age.. you don't have to pay any taxes on any of the money you earn and you can earn up to $10 an hour which is really good when you don't have to pay taxes on it!
