Getting pregnat wasn't a smart ting to do but, hey its your life. Dont stuff your self full of crap. Your going to eat more but try to lean a bit to the healthy side. It helps a lot.

Pregnant women should eat lots of nuts, seeds, whole grains, beans, fruits and vegetables, restrict added vegetable oils and and avoid all packaged foods that contain partially hydrogenated fats.

Both mother and child need essential fatty acids that are classified into omega-3s and omega-6s. Pregnancy uses up fatty acids, particularly omega-3s such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Several recent studies show that post-partum depression is caused by low levels of omega-3 fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are found in all nuts, seeds, beans and whole grains, but not in refined flour used for most bakery products and pastas.

Pregnancy depletes folic acid, and a deficiency can cause birth defects. Folic acid is found in leafy greens, nuts, seeds and beans. Extracted oils from seeds such as corn, soybeans, cottonseed, rapeseed (canola) and safflower are often converted to partially hydrogenated fats and added to foods. These fats deplete the body of omega-3 fatty acids and therefore should be avoided by pregnant women.

Just a thought, I don't believe she asked if getting pregnant at fourteen was smart or not, she asked what she should eat.

And sweetie, just be sure to eat healthy, and don't stuff yourself.
Just eat until you are full.
'Eating for two' is a load of crap.
Yes, you want to eat healthy for your baby, but you don't literally have to eat the amount of food two people would eat.

Good luck! :]

Um... I'm confused- only 19 days ago you were asking if you were pregnant, and now you definately are, and at 4 months. Stop me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you have figured it out by 4 months?

You don't need to 'eat for two' that's for sure. Make sure you have a nutritious balanced diet & stay clear of smoking & alcohol.

I always ate salads and a lot of greens. But I had a natural abortion (miscarriage) so yea. But eat healthy and your stomach is going to tell you when to eat. Just dont eat junk food too much. every now and then is fine but healthy is what you want. Do you have any cravings? mine was pickles.
