What if i'm scared to death that i'm pregnant?

Asked by guppystars over 2 years ago, 12 answers.

I'm scared. I had sex for the first time about a week and a half ago. And about 3 weeks before that or so, was the last time I got my period. And I haven't gotten it since.. I've been sitting here crying and punching my stomach scared to death that I may...

be pregnant. and im only 14 years old. and I've been thinking, if im pregant, then my life is over. seriously I don't know what I would do with my self. and thats if there's anything left of me after my dad finds out. I've never been this scared in my life... please help me through this..

Don't punch yourself and do not be afraid. A parent loves their child very much no matter the mistakes they make. Go to a health department or have a friend buy you a pregnancy test..the health dept. keeps all things confidential no matter your age.

Please don't worry so much..stressing yourself out can cause a missed period. Just take a deep breath and confide in someone outside of your family that you can trust. From now on use protection! The health dept. can help you that way too! They will give you a little brown bag filled with condoms and even have you put on birth control where only YOU know about it!

Good luck sweet heart!

Definitely don't hit yourself in the stomach. That's just a silly way to harm yourself.

So you have not had your period in about four and a half weeks? Honestly, that isn't really a big deal. Many women do not get their period every 28 days like clockwork. There are also many things besides pregnancy that can interfere with your period. Stress is a big one that can make your period late! So never assume you are pregnant just because your period is a little late. The only way to know if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test.

Keep in mind that if you are ready for intercourse, then you are ready to use protection and ready to handle a possible pregnancy. Birth control is not 100% effective. That means if you are having intercourse, you can decrease your chances of getting pregnant, but you can't eliminate them. So it may sound harsh, but if you're not ready to handle this stuff, you're not ready to have intercourse.

If you know anyone who can drive, then look up Planned Parenthood. They would be able to give you a pregnancy test and an abortion if you want one. They would also be able to give you birth control when you are ready to start having intercourse again.

in august of 2006, my sister got pregnant. she had a miscarraige but got pregnant again before she turned 18. my mom freaked both times but she is 6 1/2 months pregnant now and shes having a boy. both her and her 25 yr old boyfriend are living in my house with my mom and my little13 yr old sis (im 15). He just got a job a few weeks ago at an industrial park and it seems as if they will live with us forever. Take a pregnancy test. Odds are, you can get one delivered to you by rush delivery from a website, you can get a close friend aunt someone close who won't judge you or freakout about this, to take you to Planned Parenthood or Wal Mart to get a test. My sister and her boyfriend bought one and took the test in McDonalds the first time (haha). H**L, make your partner go with you to get the test. And when you find out the results, make the best of being a mom or try to use protection, caution, and birth control next time. LET this scare you if you aren't pregnant so mabe you be a little more careful next time. Good Luck!

Ok deary, I happen to have a little experience in this area. My best friend was 14 when she gave birth to a beautiful little girl who I'm proud to say is my god daughter. Her parents didn't take the news in stride as no parent wants to hear that thier little girl is having sex before she is out of the house. But like all parents they love her and supported her through it. Don't think your life is over because you make your life what it is. So make the best of it. Go to planned parenthood and they will explain the process of pregnancy and childbirth and they will do a pregnancy test with you...make sure your partner goes with you. If you are pregnant they will help you through it if not they will teach you how to be more cautious. Don't be affraid to confide in your parents...even if they are gruff they love you very much and want to be there for you. They may be dissappointed like any parent would be...because we all hope that our children will be smarter than we are and make far better decisions based on what we teach them.
Good luck and keep your chin up

if you have a plan parenthood around, they give you tons of free clothes, diapers, baby furniture and other stuff that you may need. They also give you free pregnancy tests. Get tested and if it's positive then tell your mother and father and boyfriend at the same time. don't be ashamed, being pregnant is the gift of life. i got pregnant when i was 13 and the father was 15. Now im 16 and he's almost 18 and it's hard to keep a child but would you rather abort? First find out how far along you are. If you are about 5 months and down, you can abort, but it gets you worse emotionally. If you go through you may have complications. I had my daughter 2 and a 1/2 months early b/c i am so small and my body couldnt hold her any longer. as for the boyfriend, i wouldn't be sure if he would stick around. #1 how old is he #2 does he work #3 do you both plan on staying togther---anyway the only problems i have is that im 16 and don't feel like a teenager at all. i don't really fit in and i hate that BUT when everyone's having kids later on, ill be in the bars lol. seriousely talk to your parents. they will be shocked but if they love you, they will get you through this. if you decide to keep the baby. i would suggest finding a WIC near you for free fruits, veggies, juices, cereal, milk etc.. they give the checks for you and your baby for free for stuff like that. also find like a thrift store like the salvation army and buy cheap baby stuff that you need. in the first 3 months, you may puke a lot, the 2nd trimester, you may be happy and the last trimester, you cant wait for it to arrive!! you glow and your skin actually gets enhanced and everyone loves t see a pregnant mom. once you find out you are, get scheduled for a gynacoligical exam and at about 3-5 months, you can find out the sex of the baby!! talk to me if ya need anyting else.

Well I think you should not hit yourself in the stomach its only going to make things worse... what you should do is take a pregnancy test. You will get your results in no time

Why is every one having sex at such an early age? Where are your parents at? I want to feel bad but it your own faults. If your going to have sex, where a condom, suck it up and deal with the consequences, you cant cry about it now.

I feel the same way...
I am sixteen... I had sex for the FIRST time.. and well.. he told him that he accidently came inside of me.
we were using a condom though..
but I love him so much and hes there for me however..
I cannot have a child..
I discharge a lot of white stuff..
I've been very tiredd.
but whats abnormal is that my breasts dont hurt..
they usually do before my period...
and my stomach look pretty bloated..
I dunno..
im scared too..
