When you start babysitting. Make a list of all of the parents that you know who have children at the appropriate age. Select an age with which you are familiar. If your friends families are all 5-8 years, don't select newborns. Best to start with an age with activities you are familiar. Ask you parents who they know.

Also ask your parents to provide you with assistance by allowing you to babysit in your own home when they are there. This will give parents confidence during your first view jobs. If you belong to a church, scouts, etc. provide babysitting services for group adult settings. This gives you experience and parents a chance to know and trust your care of their children.

I am 13 too and I have read most of the websites about babysitting and it says that you shouldnt really leave a child 13 or younger alone and you parents will only ask you to baby sit if your 14 or above. Plus youu need to know all the first aid stuff. So I think I might have to wait until I am 14 to get a babysitting job?

Take a babysitting course at a hospital nearby. You also want to become CPR certified. I am 13 years old and this helped me. I now have a great babysitting job.

Once you take the course and gget CPR certified than you should make fliers almost as if it was a business flier. This got me started.

really you cant but if you put up posters and start advetising your self then that will get you saterted im barely turning 14 and I have been babsitting for just about three years now just put up things and advetise your self it helps I baby sit 3 peolpes kids now ang get pais 10.00 an hor and charge 2.00 for any additrional kids

um I think basically what evryone else is saying you have to get cpr certified then advertise and I think you can easily get a babysitting job. also ask some of your neighbors who may have kids or your local church etc.
