& LOVE LIKE AN OCEAN , KISS LIKE AN ANGEL ♥ Asked by weeziie 10 months ago, 13 answers.

My boyfriend I have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months. I used to be on the Depo-Povera birth control shot before. We have tried many sex positions from hardcore to kinky, still we have failed. I have seen my doctor talked to him before...

about irregular period what not, but was shy to admit that I have been trying to conceive. He told me that it only takes about 3 months for the needle to clear out of your system. So I went home I have waited patiently... Still no results so I went back to the doctor I finally told him that I have been trying to conceive.

There have been numerous times when I got so fed up, went on the internet searched everywhere to learn about trying to conceive infertility. Still, I got nothing.. So my boyfriend I gave up for a bit. We have been waiting so patient.
When I searched about how to conceive, I got tons of mixed messages. Not enough information. I just recently looked at one before I came onto FunAdvice.

I cross my fingers to hope that this year will be different I hopefully conceive soon. I took many parenting courses learned about many Child Developing Skills. It sooner told me that I am ready very responsible to have my own child.

I have had many jobs like modelling, housekeeping, serving, baby-sitting, computerizing programs, camp staff counsellor, respite worker, providing medical care to elders, daycare assistant, fashion line organizer, setting up wedding halls, hairstyling assistant autobody repair assistant.

I want to be able to grow with my child run around with them. I want to give them the care that they need. I want to show them what life means. The older you are the longer you wait for your child, it will be hard to chase after them do many things with them cherish your memories.

Can someone please help me out? Your advice would be very kindly appreciated.

Your profile says you are only 16 years old.. I'm not going to give advice on how to have a child to a child theirself.

Why would you come here in the first place if you weren't going to give advice?
Think before you do something.

I agree with Mandy -

At 16 you should be focusing on your education and getting ready for your career. You obviously haven't planned it out enough and thought about costs; sometimes buying diapers daily, formula, and what about the hospital bills when you baby gets sick? It's too much for a 16-year-old to handle, I don't know why you feel the need to have a baby so bad.

I really think it's a phase, I went through the same thing when I was 16 except I didn't actually try. I really wanted a baby but I knew it wasn't the right time for me and I'd just be destroying my life if I went ahead with it.

Excuse me? Please don't talk to my staff like that.
You need to think before you ask something, you think people are going to tell a 16-year-old how to conceive? If you ask a dumb question you're going to get dumb answers, it's simple wink

Sweety...your only 16 years old!!! And your not even married. Thats going to mess things up. You will be having to act 26 if you have a kid. Thats 10 years ahead and your 10 years behind!! If you are with your boyfriend for 7 more years, out of school, out of college...contact me and I will give you help on how to concieve. But honey, thats a long time from now, and you and your boyfriend may turn seprate ways. Babys are cute, but changing diapers is not. Waking up at 2 in the morning...is not. Throw up ...is not cute. Think about it.

Thanks but I have all my credits up to date my families all have good careers. I'm working as a housekeeper for my uncle's condominium. They all understand how much I want a child. that's personally my option. I'm not planning to have a child right away. Me my boyfriend together both have $1,900 dollars saved together. So therefore I know I'm ready. I wouldn't have to worry about getting diapers because my aunt is a salesperson. She would be able to get the stuff for me at a low cost. I'm not feeding formula to my newborn. I'm breast-feeding because that's best for the baby it gives them all the nutrients that are produced in your breasts. Thats why you have a big family to help you out if you run into some trouble. My boyfriend is a going to manage his own hotel soon. I'm thinking about getting pregnant in the summer-time, not right away.
But thanks again for your advice. It's my own decision to make. And all I asked for was a little bit of help from someone. A person with a kind heart who could give their time to explain things nicely without being so darn rude ignorant. At least an adult.

I don't think you have to be married to have a child. Its all a folktale. I'm living with my boyfriend right now. We have everything that it takes. I am 16 I`m already acting like I`m 18. So what difference does it make. for me to ask a simple question isn`t dumb. It`s out of curiousity. Everyone has the right of knowledge. I`ve had to look after my friend`s baby for a week. I actually didn`t mind it at all. It`s fun to change diapers. I had to wake up with the baby in the morning yes, but that`s part of life, is it not? Cleaning up vomit? I`m used to all this. I`m doing housekeeping. Its nothing different. I have to deal with cleaning up other people`s wastes all the time. I even have my certification from the programs I have done like I said in my first post. Thanks.

1,900 dollars saved huh.

The first year - a baby cose 10,000 dollars, that IS NOT including hospital and doctor bills. You need to grow up and use your head a little bit more, because you do not have everything figured out just yet.

Breastfeeding - a great option - but not all women can breastfeed. What happens if you can't? Also, what about when the baby starts solids and jar food, how will you pay for that as well.

Low-cost or not, I dont think you realize how many diapers a new born goes though. I'm talking 20 a day here. I dont care how cheap they are - that is still going to cost a lot of money.

Your family should NOT have to raise or pay for your child, that is a very immature attitude and very irresponsible, you are their child they raised you, and they should NOT have to raise your child as well. I'm sick of children coming on here saying mommy and daddy will save my as*.

And HAHA, you watched a child for a week and you think you know it all now huh. You have a lot to learn doll. I have a 6 month old, I used to baby sit babies all the time, it is VERY different.

Grow up.

I make 600$ a week on a paycheck. How would you know what comes out of my as*? I obviously know how much a baby cost. Who do you think I am? I have seen many teens around here who were way younger having children. In the matter of fact, I have a neighbour who is my age who just had her baby what? Like 2 months ago. A few days after my birthday thanks. I know how much work it is. I have a certificate. Do you not know what that is? I don't need you to tell me how to grow up when I know I can grow up on my own. as going for the baby food, I know where to get those I would have enough for those. I have a great big connection with people who sells them. How many times do I have to repeat that in like every post? for diapers.. I think a baby goes through more than 20 cause I have seen experienced. I had to help raise my own brother sister for GODSAKE.
I didn't say that my family was going to raise my child did I? Erm no so I don't know where you are getting that from. You`re exagerating. you have no idea who I am. All you know is I'm 16 years old want a child. Whippy doo. I actually do know it all. I happen to have a very hyper brother. a newborn second cousin I see everyday. What? Is your baby like reborn everyday or something? I checked your profile like 3 months ago it says that your baby son is 5 months old. How old is he now? 6 months? That doesn't make any sense now does it?

I hope you find the information you need, All I can tell you is have a one on one talk with your Obgyn. That is what I did. They also sell ovulation strips at health and drug stores.
I don't know your life at all. But I do hope you have a good head on your shoulders.

Thank you so much harleyrider. I have bought those ovulation strips before I know how they work. I don't use them anymore though. I seem to have a fine regular menstruation cycle. I have a 28 day cycle, but still having a hard time conceiving. Its all good happy Patience is the only medication.

I thought I was normal too and was on a 28 day cycle, funny how when you really pay attention, for me it was not the case. I got it on 12-1-08 and just got it 1-2-09 that is 32 days. Do the strips really work? seems like a lot of money for somthing you only pee on for 7 days? I think it was $20.00 at the store where I saw them.

Honey, my profile has always said the correct date of my son thank you. Yes, he will be 6 months on the 8th of this month. I find it funny that you question me on my son, you can simply go to my myspace that is posted on my profile on here, I have pictures of me from his birth, so doubt me all you want.
