In response to jooberations. As for what must have been going through this childs mind, he or she probably didn't even know about death even though he or she was so close to it. I imagine that he or she didn't make it much longer than when this picture was taken.
I understand that the photographer probably didn't want to touch the child for fear of disease but why couldn't he have taken the food to them?
I guess these were the kinds of questions he was asking himself when he decided to end his own life.
It is, definitely, sad and it goes on all the time in countries like that I guess. And people still believe there's a God?
you can almost touch this childs anguish and despair. this is a sure fire way to get people to give to famine causes. as for me I will thank my lucky stars that I dont have to worry that my kiddies will end up like this. how can you begin to imagine what starving feels like? what goes through these peoples minds when they are dying like this? and for a split second nothing in this world matters more than wanting to pick this child up and give him a future.

Oh my God my God please help this child! If I were there I'd make sure he wouldn't suffer another day! It makes me so sad! bye.
