lol, it wouldn't surprise me if the world became like that. However, what you described is more metal than anything sweety(not to sound like a know it all. They're probably mall goths or mansonites(however you spell that). Hmm...go to wiki to look it up, I admit, it's not the best of info but it should help clarify for you what it is & what it came from. I'm thinking about writting a book myself of what it is & such XD, I have a website dedicated to the subject(if you want a link let me know 1_~). Hmm...try asking what the origonal Gothic bands are (Post Punk bands such as Banshees, Bahas, Twisted Twisted Sister), if they say Marliyn Mansion call them a dumb Mall Goth9 a want to be poser who mostly shops at mall stores such as Hottopic to get clothes), laugh & walk away. Ask them what a Cyber Goth is, a Billy-O-Goth, Victorien Goth, Either Goth, or/&even Loli(there's way over 15 diffrent gothic fashions to let you know). or(here's a good one) ask what the religoun of Goths are, if they give you any answer than there is no set religoun within the subculture, they're not. There's a lot of posers out there giving us bad names, so you might want to watch out for that, they sound like the many dumb @$$e$ sullying our name.
