Hi there. I wanted to check in with you to see how you were doing. Did you have your baby yet? I hope that everything went okay and that you had a healthy baby. I am eager to see pics. Nothing too much is going on with me. I am getting prepared for the gastric bypass and not too much else. Talk to you soon,
Stacey

Ok.....let me start off by maybe correcting myself. I had my little girl 5 months ago, but I placed her for adoption because well, for several reasons that I wont get into here, being that it is so public, but, um, anyways, I am not going to drink soda anymore, but I am kinda "stuck" on my sweet tea. If I make it, its great. Anyways congradulations on your little bundle of joy. I read the thing about your spanking question, and I do have a 9 year old from a previous relationship and I must say, you will know what it right for you. I think that I spanked my son once. Nothing he ever did ever seemed "worthy" of a spanking in my eyes. And I must also say that I spanked him on his tush. Anywhere else would be "not kosher" so to speak. Anyways you will know, trust me. Its easier and I think more productive if you do the "timeout" thing. I was a teacher of little ones for several years and timeout worked. You might want to try to go to some early childhood classes at your local community college. Take the courses that the state makes your daycare workers and teachers take. You will soon see that timeout is the way to go AND have a better understanding of what your child is going through at any particular age. You will also be able to understand them more. It works. Also, if you havent alreay, take a first aid/ CPR course too. You will need it!!!!! LOL

I'll be honest with you. I did drink soda recently. I used to drink it all the time, but then I got pregnant and I quick "cold turkey" for a while, then I started drinking a glass when I would go out to eat. Then I would but 1 2 liter, then what do I know I have let the soda slowly sneak its way back into my diet. BUT NO MORE!!!!!! After reading what I read, I am never going to drink another soda pop for as long as I live. Now, got a question for ya????? I make sweet tea. From scratch. Tea bags boiled in water add sugar and go.......Is this just as bad for me as pop? I am sure its not good because I do sweeten it with sugar, and sugar turns to fat and fat gets stored, mainly on my belly, lol, but, I wonder it it just as bad? It doesnt have all those chemicals......maybe I am just trying to convince myself that It isnt bad because I like it so much.....or better yet, because I am addicted to the SUGAR!!!!! What do you think?
