♥ Hi, my name is Carol, aka katwoman. I'm 55 years old and I hope that with the things I've experienced in my life, that I can be of help to others.

Here's just a few of those experiences, (they weren't all bad).

I was married 3 times and have 3 grown children and a beautiful 13 year old granddaughter.

When I was 15 yrs old, I ran away from home with my boyfriend who, later, became my first husband. We drove until we ended up at his grandmothers converted two room shack (a den with an add-on bedroom) which was on the side of a snow-covered mountain. The only heat she had was a wood burning heater which was centered in the one room that she stayed in. The bedroom, where we slept, was constructed of wooden slats that were so far apart that we could see the snow falling on the other side.
After about two weeks, we were found by my parents and brought back home.

My Mother forced me to get married but my Dad refused to go to the wedding. I didn't understand at first but it didn't take long to see that my husband was very immature. He had signed up for the Army before we met and was going AWOL (absent without leave) , until he was, finally, kicked out and given a dishonorable discharge. He was in the Stockade (jail) several times for being absent w/o leave.

Recently (about 4 or 5 years ago), he passed away. He was an alcoholic and continued to drink, knowing that he had Hep.C. He died of Liver Cancer.

I am a recovering drug addict and did everything that I had to do to get my drug.

I smoked cigarettes from age 15 to age 45 until I quit because my Oncologist said I would have Emphysema (COPD) in 10 to 15 yrs. I now have Emphysema. (This was all brought on because I had Cancer and went through radiation). I had Chemotherapy but that has nothing to do with smoking.

My Mother kicked me out twice when I was 16. (My Father had talked her into letting me come back though). I found out that she wanted to take my son from me. She didn't succeed and he and I live together today. He's 38.

Both of my parents have passed away and though my Mom and I didn't get along, I miss her a lot now. I miss my Dad very much too.
