Hi everyone. I live with my Nan, Mum and little sister Rose, who is eight.

I'm open-minded, fairly relaxed, kind of sarcastic, opinionated, deep,indecisive, claustrophobic, and a tonne of other stuff that I can't think of at the moment but might update later. I also have a fear of chickens.

I'm a vegetarian, a lifestyle my parents have reacted to in a very considerate and accepting way, an apparently uncommon trait, which I am very proud of. I go to a selective high school, so I guess that means I'm "of higher intelligence", although I recently stuck my tounge to the inside of my family's refrigerator ( to see what would happen ), giving my sister further "proof " to back up her claim that the scores in every intelligence test and exam I have ever sat are typos.

When people ask me if I'm a goth, I usually mutter a " um... I dunno, s'pose so...", but only because, even though I am willing to defend Goth against all the misguided pre-conceptions that are continually cropping up, I just want to exclude myself from any prejudices people ( especially some parents ) may have. I also don't like to go around saying " oohh, look at me, I'm a goth! " mainly because it's idiotic, but also because I'd rather be "kate, a goth" instead of "a goth, called kate". If you see what I mean.

I am currently trying to learn the trumpet. Note the trying.

I'm a yellow belt in karate, although I can't seem to get my head around 2nd kata. (Practice, practice, practice.)

People say I have an odd sense of humor, some might say a bit dark, but I do like a good bit of slapstick in moderation.

Just so you know, these are in no particular order, like all the other lists I make, unless I specify the order.

When I grow up I want to be healthy, wealthy and wise. ( Please, please excuse the cliche ). For a profession, I might like to be a comedian, ( I told this to my best friend and she burst out laughing. Can't decide wether that's good or bad...) a philosopher, ( she had the same reaction to that one.) a forensic scientist, an actor, or ( I think everyone's had this dream at some point in their lives ) a rock star, reguardless of the fact that I can't sing or play any prominent rock instrument. ( Although I'm begging my dad to buy me a drum set.)

Another thing you might have learned about me ( if you even bothered to read this entire thing) is that I do like to ramble on a bout something that intrests me. And by the way, that last bit was not meant to be narcsistic in any way, shape or form.
