Okay I'm going to post my answer up here, because I doubt you'll be able to read ALL the answers on your Why is my life crappy question.
Call the police because of your mother striking you. You're priviledges are taken from you? And people make fun of you? Stand up strong and don't show signs of weakness against the bullies. As for your mother tell her to leave you alone because she doesn't care. Get some police help. You can get emancipated and adopted into a life where someone really does care. Either that or w8 until you're 18 and out of the house. As for College to become a writer there are other ways to get your stories published if you think you're that well at writing. You can enter the thisispush.com contest and if you win, you'll be published. Or you can try for a scholarship, which is the hard way. You can also try getting a job for your own intuition. As for your appearance, if it's something of your face like pimple or such they can be rid of with proactiv and other materials. Or if it's a problem about weight you can jog everyday. You can turn your life around if you're willing to take action and make sacrifices. I may only be 13 but I have seen my fair share of problems. Trust me, once you try and change yourself, you will see everything in a new light. Don't be negative, stay positive!
