You shouldn't really be wearing it more than 3-5 days straight without taking it off anyway. You need to let your nails breathe.
I've never had problems (with proper application at least). Revlon and Rimmel are great.

It looks really great with the right clothing. Use black accents (belts, etc), but lighter cloths if you dont want to come across as 'emo' or 'goth'.

I do tell him that I think its hot and all that... I think that's probably the main reason he lets me paint them at all... I somehow dont think painting my nails red would do the trick to convince him, haha. Threatening to cut him off is the only thin...
