I just wanted to thank you all for your sincere words of comfort and for the many beautiful cards and letters we have received for the death of my daughter, Lauralale.

It has been very hard, and we all miss her smiling eyes and spunky character. I will continue coming to this site and read her words; it makes me feel closer to her.

It's hard to believe...

It's hard to believe someone we knew and talked to so often is gone. I know in my heart we will all get to talk to her again someday, but it's hard. It's got to be insanley difficult for her mom!

Hi tori. Thanks for the invite, though, I'm not sure why, unless it's to play devil's advocate perhaps, or just to be a part of the group grieving the loss of our friend Orion.

I wasn't sure whether orion had really passed away, or if she had just decided to fake it (yes, I'm a cynic, but I've seen that type of thing on forums). But, it does seem genuine, and in retrospect, is consistent with her posts and behavior. So, I'm bummed out like everyone else. Orion and I obviously didn't see eye to eye, but there was mutual respect, and she seemed like a really nice person.

I may come off as a hard-nose atheist here at time, but in real life, at least half my friends are Christians - some fundamentalist.

Yes, thank you for the group invitation. I just got Amblessed's notification of orion's passing and posted on her/parent's page. Bless you for your steadfastness in Christ,

Prayer for Orion's Family.

I know I had to stop and say a little something as soon as I heard. I'm glad she's with God and in no more pain, but her family is probably hurting right now, so if you could keep them in your prayers for a few weeks!
