Looked at the question and you seem to have gotten plenty of answers. IMHO, i think you should continue the way your are. Starting back in high school now may allow you to relapse into bad habits which could prevent you from successfully passing.

As for the prom, you could still go with one of the seniors.

Another possibility is to put out the effort to complete most of your schooling by January and then enroll in the High School for the last semester. If you were sure you were going to do that, you could probably get your picture taken at the same time the others do then if you enroll for the last semester you would qualify to have your pic in the year book. You would also be getting a diploma from a regular high school that way.
