How do we send the same message to all our Friends... for example --- any occasion like Christmas?

At this moment, i have 165 Friends, so typing each of their names in the Send To box every time i want to communicate to them all would be a time consuming chore. i do have a relatively easy solution that i use.

First, i have a clipboard helper called Clipboard Magic.

Clipboard Magic is a Windows clipboard enhancement utility. It can dramatically enhance your productivity when cutting and pasting text and links or for filling in web forms. It allows you to save and access hundreds of clips from numerous 'lists' which makes it very convenient for categorizing Windows clipboard clips.

One of my 'Lists' is 'Fun Advice - PEOPLE' where i list all of my Friends, one per line, and a little information about them.

Now i open Windows Notepad. i also have my 'Clipboard Magic' open with the first Friend's username selected. (The Clipboard Magic screen shows on top of what you're working on but you can position it anywhere so that it doesn't interfere with your work.)

Now i go to the Notepad and hit 'Ctrl, Shift, V' then Enter. As i repeat this, the Clipboard Magic is pasting, in sequence, each of the Friends names and information into the Notepad. It's a good thing to 'Save' your Notepad every so often so that if you make a mistake or have a power failure, you don't have to repeat all your effort.

Now i delete all the information under each Friend's username. Then i start moving each name up on the same line as the name above it, separated by a comma and a space. You can get about ten names per line. On the last name in the line, put a comma and space and hit Enter which starts you on a new line. Repeat the above procedure until all your Friends are listed on several lines. SAVE your work.

Now i copy each line, one at a time, back into my Clipboard Magic list. In my case it takes up eleven lines.

Now, open a new Notepad page and 'Ctrl, Shift, V' each of your lines from Clipboard Magic back into Notepad. DO NOT use the Enter key to add new lines but simply keep going with the 'Ctrl, Shift, V' at the end of each line and it will automatically utilize the next line in Notepad as needed. Continue until all your lines have been added to the Notepad page. If there is a comma and space at the end of the LAST line, delete them. Save your work.

Now, highlight the whole page and copy it into your Clipboard Magic list. You now have ONE list entry that is composed of all your Friends and can be pasted into the Send To box on Compose Private Mail in my Fun Mail.

Remember to include your username in the list so that you will receive a copy of what you are sending out (yes, you CAN Fun Mail yourself).

It sounds like a lot of work, but you only have to set it up one time, so future Fun Mails to all your Friends are a snap.

Whenever you receive a new Friend, simply open your Clipboard Magic Friends list and 'Open' the line that has all your friends on it, add a comma and space to it then type in your new Friend's name. Also, open your Notepad so that you can add the name to the last line there. This way you have two places where the lists are available in case you foul one of them up.

You will also find that Clipboard Magic is exceptionally useful for many copy & paste tasks. So far mine has 45 lists with some of the lists having hundreds of entries.
