well if you want to know how to sing high notes practice sining some small words like go, no, now, goo. and make sure that your not using to much air its not silly its just that you need to let your voice be free and dont try and hold it back keep doing all the im also trying to do high notes and im almost there im just like a inch from reaching it like leona lewis’s voice just keep on practicing thoses small words which I gave you and dont worry goo is not spelt wrong it just that you need to hold it longer and have so enough youll see me on the x-factor when im between the age of 16-20 just keep on trying not every day so you can not strain your voice. all the best lve shannon xxx goodluck

if you cant hit the high notes, dont strain your voice. you will end up ruining it, and trust me…the world already doesnt have enough people singing…we need more! I am a first soprano and I have had this problem. in order to get up to my high notes, I raise my eye brows to raise your soft pallet, this will help you stay in tune as you go up. keep singing!

Answer #3

A few tips.

  1. Don’t strain, it’ll ruin your voice. Only go as high as you can.

  2. Practice! When it comes to singing, you HAVE to practice. Do scales, warm ups, whatever.

  3. Maybe you could invest in a singing coach. They can help a lot.

Answer #4

dude, if you can’t hit high notes, your screwd, to say the least. I don’t know what you got your self into but it doesn’t sound good. Singing is a natural talent that not all people are born with. If you can reach those high notes but you just keep barely missing them, then try like..moving your hands up with the high notes..almost like your directing yourself to go higher..that’s what my personal trainer tells me when I’m going a little flat and I’m tellin you it works everytime.

Answer #5

Straining to hit high notes can be really bad for your vocals. (you can develop vocal nodules). It takes a lot of time and years of careful, professional training to reach high notes in the whistle register like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

If you’re serious about developing your whistle register then you should get a professional vocal teacher who can guide you safely through exercises.

Answer #6

Be confident. Trust me, if you’re not confident, even if you have the vocal ability to regularly hit the notes, you might not hit it when you need to. And don’t be afraid to be loud. Just step away from the mike if you think you need more volume to hit the higher notes. :)

Answer #7

The advice here is good - especially ‘look after your voice’! One of my teachers used to tell me to think about the top of my head (it’s similar to the ‘raising the eyebrows’ advice). That works for me. And also, be very well-warmed up with lots of singing exercises (or even just gently singing easier tunes) before you go for the high notes.

Answer #8

Its easy. Sing HIGH. Nrr.

well, I sing in my school chorus. you need a lot of breath support from your diaphram. You need to raise the soft pallet also and create a lot of space inside your mouth. make sure your posture is right also, shoulders comfortably back. High notes can be challenging and take practice. They don’t just come overnight. trry starting from a lower note and gradually increasing. like la la la or ooo ooo ooo something liike that. im sure if you have a vocal instructor at school (if you go to school) they’d be willing to help. confidence helps a lot too. warm up excersises/ vocal excersises will expand your range.
